Th
mind, soulTo stay present in everyday life, it helps to be deeply rooted
within yourself; otherwise, the mind, which has incredible
momentum, will drag you along like a wild river.
What do you mean by "rooted within yourself"?
It means to inhabit your body fully. To always have some of
your attention in the inner energy field of your body. To feel
the body from within, so to speak. Body awareness keeps you
present. It anchors you in the Now (see chapter 6).
Then become aware of the entire inner energy field of the body. Don't think about it
- feel it. By doing this, you reclaim consciousness from the
mind.
When you can feel the inner body clearly as a single field of energy, let go, if possible, of any visual image and focus exclusively on the feeling. If you can, also drop any mental image you may still have of the physical body. All that is left then is an all-encompassing sense of presence or "being. ness," and the inner body is felt to be without a boundary.
Then take your attention even more deeply into that feeling.
Become one with it. Merge with the energy field, so that there is no longer a perceived duality of the observer and the observed, of you and your body. The distinction between inner and outer also dissolves now, so there is no inner body anymore. its formless. by going deeply into the body, you have transcended the body.
don't give 100 percent of your attention to the external
world and to your mind. Keep some within.
Feel the inner body even when engaged in
everyday activities, especially when engaged in relationships
or when you are relating with nature. Feel the stillness deep
nside it. Keep the portal open.
You feel ias a deep sense of peace somewhere in the background, a
stillness that never leaves you, no matter what happens out
here.

which one of the 4 imbalances (Jeremy ross)disturbance (calm) + stagnation (move)
Qi stagnation ginger (disperses Qi)
HT spirit disturbance (?)signs:palpitations, insomnia, anxiety, trembling, worse with emotional stresslime flower (restlessness, irritability, insomnia, nervousheadaches; hypertension associated with nervous tension)
Oats,
(palpitations, insomnia, anxiety + depression: Avena+Hypericum, Leonurus+Melissa)
(palpitations, insomnia, anxiety + especially children: Chamomilla+Hyssopus, Nepeta+ Tilia, Nepeta + Passiflora, Passiflora + Tilia)
LR invades ST!!signs: epigastric discomfort, nausea, depression and frustration, tremors, convulsions, white tongue coat, tendency to liver Qi stagnationexplanations: chronic excessive worry and feelings of insecurity, originating from SP Qi Deficiency, can predispose to ST Qi Deficiency, ST Qi Stagnation, and then to LR invades ST
emotions <-->stomach: frustration and supressedanger can result in LR Qi Stagnation which can invade ST, contributing to ST Qi Stagnation
emotional disturbance due to fear, anxiety, or anger, may contribute to ST Qi Stagnation, with epigastric distension, discomfort, or pain
(Liver Wind)signs: tics, tremors, dizziness, irritability, anger, headaches(herb: peppermint (for adverse climate wind))
ST Food retention!signs: sensations of discomfort/distension/fullness in epigastrium, nausea, belching/(burps)!, (sour regurgitation), thick white coat

ST Qi Rebellious!nausea, belcing/burps!, excessive thinking, worry, symptoms related to emotional stress, or to eating while emotional upsetherbs: Mentha, Chamomile, Ginger, citrus aur, acorus
ST Qi stagnation!!epigastric distension and discomfort or mild to moderate pain, nausea, worry, suppressed anger, frustration, depression; worry, excessive thinking, herbs: fennel, ginger, rosmarinus, mentha, citrus aur., acorus
(ST Yin deficiency?)
Spleen worry!!!digestive disorders that are aggravated by worry, eating disorders, digestive disorders + strong worry or anxiety, digestive disorders, especially nausea + worry or anxiety▪digestive disorders + worry or anxiety + depression, irritable bowel syndrome, obsessive thinking; excessive thinking, especially with no resulting practical action,
note:
pulse doesn´t match
explanation: constitutional tendency toSP Qi Deficiency may contribute to chronic worry and feelings of insecurityanything that causes SP Qi Deficiency, eg.malnutrition and irregular eating habits may contribute to SP Worry, since SP Qi is necessary to provide feelings of security and stability
for persons that worry, physical rest, relaxation, and refreshing sleep are essential ▪it is necessary for these persons to learn one or more of the following: breathing techniques, Qi Gong, positive affirmation exercises, and appropriate meditation techniques; for the morning, when there is acute worry, and before bedherbs:
chamomile,
melissa,
mentha,
rosmarinus(depression),
avena,
(spleen Qi deficiency)
gas, farting
explanation: as signs that the body’s “Qi” (energy/function) is not moving smoothly through the digestive system. TCM doesn’t view gas as a disease by itself — it’s considered a symptom pattern that points to imbalance in organs like the Spleen, Stomach, Liver, or intestines.
