through the chosen glazing technique, the colour shades will change between greens and browns a transformation between beautiful earth tones.

`the body, our vessel`
·
words and teachings on

traditional far eastern medicine,
unfolding patterns,
combining herbs, roots and leaves.

on balancing through herbs that hold an affinity to our Spleen — the organ of the season Late Summer.
on understanding if a body is in need of consolidating, dispersing, or draining of Moisture — the climate of Late Summer.
on mending connected imbalances — like cold, weakened digestion. muscle tenderness, sensations of heaviness. feeling worried, overwhelmed. having too many thoughts. water retention, swelling, fluid imbalance. sensitivity to coldness..

tea will be brewed from herbs which connect with our inner body through the element Earth — the element of Late Summer.

herbal face balm making
`the skin, our (protective) outline`

preparing our skin for the transition to Autumn — the season of Dryness, belonging to the organ Lungs.

from herbs that are naturally infusing in the warmth of the sun within carefully pressed oil.
then, melted together with wax from the bee´s hive, and a little honey
— a combination of herbs I chose for protecting, healing, bringing softness and moisture to the skin.
herbs, I pick, blend, dry throughout summer, far down south on a croatian island
or in danish fields and meadows.

together, we will pour the balm within its vessel.
