tea conversations — words, readings, teachings on
traditional far eastern medicine,
unfolding patterns,
combining herbs, roots and leaves.

on balancing through herbs that hold an affinity to our Lungs — the organ belonging to the season of Autumn.
on understanding if a body is in need of evening out Dryness — the climate of Autumn.
on mending connected imbalances — like vulnerability to outer pathogens, colds. weakened immune defense. coldness of arms and legs. shortness of breath, breathlessness, unrhythmic breathing. asthma, allergies. coughing.
phlegm obstructing respiratory paths. sensitive, dry, inflamed skin. rigidity of posture, chest, spine, muscles. easy sweating, sensitivity to changes in temperature..

tea will be brewed from traditionally prepared medicinal roots and berries,
which connect with our inner body through the element Metall — the element of Autumn.
deeply infused autumn oils of walnut leaves, rosemary and helichrysum will be shared — to move Blood and bring warmth to the surface,
or to nourish the skin, our outline.
a herbal steam inhalation prepared, to clear our vessels for breath — our airways.
herbal honey tasted, to soften and protect its membranes.

on an November afternoon,
around the dark, old wooden table.
in the warmest space, that reminds of autumn itself.
aged, braided wood floors, tall reaching ceilings,
filled with pieces of soft cotton, linen and wool cloth.
nowhere I would rather hold the autumn medicine teachings.
